David Eugene "Dave" Chapman, 58, of Lexington Park, MD, formally of Great Mills, MD., died June 8, 2011 in Leonardtown, MD. Born on April 3, 1953 in Clarksville, TN, he was the son of Minnie Oretha Westman of Clarksville, TN.

Mr. Chapman is survived by his siblings; Sharlene Redman of Lexington Park, MD, Brenda York of Springfield, IL, and Phyllis Gerheart of Clarksville, TN.

Mr. Chapman graduated from Nuttall High School in 1972 and moved from Texas to St. Mary's County in July, 1972. Dave served in the United States Marine Corps from 1972 until he was honorably discharged in 1975. Mr. Chapman worked as a drywall installer in the construction industry.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 17, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.
