Mr. Monachino was an Auto Body Technician for 40 years with Gray's Body Shop in White Plains, MD and an avid classic car buff with his 1969 Chevrolet Camaro. He enjoyed gardening, photography, was an excellent car painter and was a Jack of all Trades. He most enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.

He was son of the late Angelo Monachino, Sr. and the late Rose Marie Swahlon Monachino. He was predeceased by his parents and one brother, Robert Monachino.

He is survived by his beloved companion, Lula Todd; two daughters, Renee (Frederick) Johnson of NY and Danielle (Robert) Stiles of NY; one brother, John Mancini of NY; two sisters, Debbie (James) Smith of NY and Kim Monachino of NY; and one nephew, Brian (Jennifer) Smith of NY. Also survived by 10 grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 from 5-8pm at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. A Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 7pm at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, MD. Clergy will be the Pastor Aaron Rummage.
