Jerry Patton Hansen, 64, of Waldorf, MD, died May 25, 2011, at Civista Medical Center, La Plata, MD.

Mr. Hansen was a building inspector for 20 years with the City of Laurel and George Mason University. He was a U.S. Navy veteran having served during the Vietnam era.

Born September 8, 1946, in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, he was the son of Wilbur Hansen and Vendita Morrell.

A gathering will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2011, from 10AM until service time at 12 Noon at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Rev. Wilson Morales will officiate. Interment will be private.
