![]() Born on December 19, 1939 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late John Frederick and Margaret Maxine Mateer Pergal.
Nancy was an Administrative Assistant for Prince George's County Police Department where she retired in 2008 after 25 years. She was also was a member and former Chaplain of the Women's Auxiliary American Legion Post 259 in Clinton, MD. She enjoyed traveling to places such as Hawaii, the Grand Cannon, Arizona, and Nashville, Tennessee. She enjoyed listening to Alabama, and Elvis, and going to dinner theaters. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, David Huntington Hill of Mechanicsville, MD, children, Carla Gene Braden, Joni Marie Peyton and David H. Hill, Jr., grandchildren, Nancy, Amanda, Valerie, Trevor, and Jacob, and great-grandchildren, Aurora, Aiden, and Ryan. She is also survived by sisters, Jacqueline and Terrie. Nancy's Life Celebration will be on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, Maryland, from 5 to 8PM with a funeral service at 7PM. The Reverend John Caulfield from Immaculate Conception Catholic Church will officiate. Her committal service will be on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at 11AM at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery.
