![]() Rebecca Rose Lindberg, 45, of Wildewood, known as Becky to her family, was born October 5th, 1965, in Muskegon, Michigan. She passed away peacefully and lovingly, after a long and truly courageous battle with brain cancer, into the arms of her Lord on Saturday, May 7th, 2011.
She started a cleaning business that evolved into Ace Cleaning and finished her career as an administrator at the Wildewood Retirement Village. She completed her Associates Degree in the Arts and Sciences in 2008, graduating with honors. Rebecca loved life, her family and her many friends. She was creative, energetic, joyful, compassionate, funny and a hard worker; a confidant to many people, an avid reader, generous and most of all, completely giving of herself. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and looked forward to the River Front concerts. Rebecca is survived by her husband, Rick Lindberg, her children, Anita and Erin Emery, RuthAnn Clark, Meagan Rankin, Nicole Lindberg, Andrew Lindberg, her granddaughter, Annabell Emery as well as her mother, Anita Zimmerman and step-father, Thomas Zimmerman, of Nisula, Michigan, her sisters, Debra O'Toole of Colorado, Marilyn Swann of Alaska, Barbara Flahive of Michigan, Karen Walden of Colorado and Janet Petersen of Alaska. She leaves 17 nieces and nephews as well as aunts, uncles and countless friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Johnson and her brother, Steven Johnson. Family will receive friends for Rebecca's Life Celebration on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Brinsfield Funeral Home, 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD 20650. Prayers will be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 16555 Three Notch Road, Ridge, MD 20680.
