Dorothy Juanita Myers, 61, of Issue, MD, died April 26, 2011 at Civista Medical Center, LaPlata. Born February 1, 1950 in Macon, Georgia, she was the daughter of Charlie Myers and Eddie Mae Myers (King-Smith).

Dorothy belonged to the Pentecostal Church of God in Christ. She loved bingo, movies, art and prayer.

Dorothy was predeceased by her parents.

She is survived by her son, Marlon Myers; Brothers, Charles Myers, Lee Kent and Ruben Bryant; sisters, Mattie Mae Hodge, Margaret Patterson, Joyce Germany, Linda Weems, Cynthia Walden, Sharon Walden, Gloria King, Arrisa Mong, Judy King, Shilon Perry, Andrenette Joseph, Kreasy Patterson and Mae Catherine Green; also 46 nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends for Dorothy's Life Celebration on Thursday, May 5, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00p.m. at the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD followed by a service at 12:00 noon.

Interment will take place at Queen of Peace Cemetery, Helen, MD.
