Samuel "Sam" Foster Bryant, 65 of Charlotte Hall, MD, formerly of Fort Washington and Bowie, MD, died on April 29, 2011 at the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home. Born on August 20, 1945 in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Frederick Greeley and Amy Bernice Nickens Norris.

Sam worked as a Custodian with the U.S. Postal Service in Gaithersburg where he retired in 2008 with a disability. He also served on the U.S. Airforce. He grew up with horses, raised and cared for them on his family farm. He also enjoyed oldies.

Survived by his siblings, Frederica Norris Watson, Mark A., and Robert B. Bryant, and other relatives and friends.

Service and Interment private.
