Roger Dale McKinney, 61, of Newburg, MD, formerly of Washington, D.C., died April 15, 2011 at Washington, D.C. Veterans Administration Medical Center. Born May 29, 1949 in Clarksburg, West Virginia, he was the son of Robert Neil McKinney and Loretta Lake McKinney.

Roger attended school in the Washington, D.C. area. He loved riding his motorcycle and the young ladies. In 1971 he married one of them, Patty Hall. They had known one another as children.

Roger was predeceased by his parents, and siblings Janice McKinney and Gerry McKinney.

He is survived by his wife, Patty McKinney; children, Sean McKinney (Becky) of Colorado and Melissa McKinney Finall (Bryant) of Newburg, MD and four grandchildren, Ryan, Patrick, James and Brooklyn.
