Nancy Drinkard Lloyd, 72, of Newburg, MD, died on April 17, 2011 at VCU Medical Center in Richmond, VA. Born on July 11, 1938 in Indian Head, MD, she was the daughter of the late Mildred Lee and the late Lawrence Robert Drinkard.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Mark Hamilton Lloyd, and her brother; Dennis Robert Drinkard.

She is survived by her husband; Clarence Bernard "Bunkie" Lloyd, daughters; Dana Lloyd Posey and her husband David, and Nancy Lloyd O'Neill and her husband, Gordon, 7 grandchildren, and sister, Mildred Ann Raby of Bryands Road, MD.

Married to Bunkie for nearly 53 years, she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her happiest days were spent at their home on Lloyd Point Farm. She will be remembered as a talented home decorator and antique collector.

Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on April 20, 2011 at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Issue, MD. The Rev. Gregory Coan officiated. Burial took place at the church cemetery. Pallbearers were her grandsons; Matthew McAllister Posey, Mark Lloyd Posey, Francis Wills Posey, II, Gordon Augustine O'Neill, IV, Alexander Lloyd O'Neill, and nephew Dennis Robert Drinkard, Jr.
