Thelma Joan St. Clair, 74, of La Plata, MD passed away at Civista Medical Center on April 14, 2011.

She is predeceased by her parents; Edward A. Bowman and Hilda G. Bowman. Husband; Preston H. St. Clair, Sr., Brother; Emlyn Bowman, and daughter; Brenda Skinner.

She is survived by her daughters; Gloria "George" Beatty, Sandra Wise, Patricia Bowersox, and Shelia Thompson. Son; Preston H. "Peppy" St. Clair, Jr. 19 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and companion Tom Davenport.

A life celebration will take place on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, P.A. in La Plata, MD. A service will take place on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 11 am at the La Plata United Methodist Church. Pallbearers will be Gregory Gomez, Alex Wise, Kyle Bowerox, David St. Clair, Sean St. Clair, Jacob Thompson, and Matthew Thompson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Daniel Skinner, Joseph Gomez, Robert Gomez, and James Wise. Interment will be private at the Dentsville Methodist Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Denstville Volunteer Rescue Squad.
