Kyle Bailey Johnsen, 27, of La Plata, MD. died on April 12, 2011 at his home. He was born on April 28, 1983 in Washington, DC to Lee and Sharon Johnsen.

He is predeceased by his brother, Chad and his sister Rachel.

He is survived by his grandparents; James and Catherine Cleaveland, aunts; Janie Beam, Marlene Cleaveland and Patty Johnsen, uncles; James Cleaveland, James Beam and Dean Johnsen, cousins; Jesse Beam, Jenna Parker, Amber Cleaveland, Hayley Cleaveland, Ryan Cleaveland and Jeremy Johnsen. He is also survived by numerous other family and friends.

Kyle attended the Archbishop Neale School and graduated from La Plata High School in 2001. He also graduated from the College of Southern Maryland with an associate's degree in general studies and was an apprentice Plumber getting ready to become a journeyman.

He is a counselor for Special Love(children with cancer), enjoyed being with family and friends, camping and is proud of his Irish heritage.

A celebration of his life will be held on Monday April 18, 2011 from 2 pm to 6 pm at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church La Plata, MD. with prayers at 5:30 pm. Where a Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Tuesday April 19, 2011 at 10 am with Fr. Ron Potts officiating. Interment to follow at the St. Ignatius Church Cemetery, Chapel Pt.

Pallbearers will be Jesse Beam, Andrew Willingham, J.D. Metcalf, Jeff Johnson, Robbie Grysckiewicz, Ryan Cleaveland, Kevin Hooker, and Bud Johnson.
