Violet Theresa Christy, 91, of Waldorf, MD, died March 23, 2011, at Fenwick Landing, Waldorf, MD. Mrs. Christy was a homemaker.

Born April 2, 1919, in Seattle, WA, she was the daughter of the late Peter Grbich and the late Teresa Tremare Grbich.

Predeceased by her parents; husband of 61 years, John Dale Christy.

Survived by two brother in-laws, numerous nieces and nephews and their families; dear friends, Phyllis and Warren Decker and Sandra and David Cross.

Graveside service will be held Monday, April 4, 2011, 11AM, at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD. Rev. James Hunt will officiate.
