Thomas Carroll, 73 of Lexington Park, MD died on February 17, 2007 in St. Mary's Nursing Center, Leonardtown, Maryland.

He was born August 21, 1933 in St. Mary's County to late Douglas and Grace Carroll.

He attended Cardinal Institute. He was employed at St. Mary's College for 20 years. His hobbies included; fishing and playing cards. On October 16, 1965 he married his longtime sweetheart Shirley.

He is survived by his wife Shirley of 41 years and ten children; Robert White (Jackie) of Lexington Park, MD, Juanita Carroll of Lexington Park, MD, Darren Carroll of Lexington Park, MD, Patricia White Fenwick (Ray) of Lexington Park, MD, David Carroll (Candy) of Park Hall, MD, Pamela Carroll of Baltimore, MD, Rose Carroll of Lexington Park, MD, Carlos Carroll of Lexington Park, MD, Shirley Carroll of Lexington Park, MD and Jacqueline Carroll of Lexington Park, MD, 20 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He is also survived by four sisters; Lucy Dudley and Virginia Porter of Baltimore, MD, Sarah Chase and Helen Robinson of Lexington Park, MD, two brothers; Paul Carroll and Francis Carroll of Lexington Park, MD, four sisters in-law, three brothers in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his three children Cameron, Thomas and infant Carroll, and four brothers; Tolbert, James, Charles and Augustus Carroll and a grandson Joseph Carroll, Jr.

The family will receive friends on Friday February 23, 2007 from 9– 11:00 a.m. in St. Cecelia's Catholic Church in St. Mary's City, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 23, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Cecelia's. The Reverend Damian Shadwell will be the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery in Lexington Park, MD.
