Mrs. Brown was a Homemaker and a member of Welcome Back to God Church in Brooklyn, NY. She enjoyed cooking, reading (especially her Bible), and watching movies. She was always known as being very funny and a loving mother to her children and grandchildren.

Daughter of the late Lawrence Kirk and the late Lula Lawson Kirk.

Predeceased by her parents; her late husband of 35 years, Clifton H. Brown.

Survived by two sons, Victor L. Brown of La Plata, MD and Emmanuel C. Brown of La Plata, MD; two daughters, Sharon D. (Joseph) Calandra of Portsmouth, VA and Angela R. Brown of Waldorf, MD; three brothers, Tyrone (Jean) Kirk of Washington, DC, Lorenzo (Mary) Kirk of Philadelphia, PA, and Bernard (Barbara) Kirk of AZ. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Saturday, February 26, 2011 from 10AM until service time at 11AM at Christian Unity Baptist Church, Park Lane, Suite 519, Waldorf, MD

Rev. Antoine Hutchins will officiate.

Interment will take place at Heritage Memorial Cemetery in Waldorf, MD.
