Christopher Michael Hoefert, 24, of La Plata, MD, died February 15, 2011, at Prince George's Hospital Center in Cheverly, MD.

Christopher was a Technology Teacher at North Point High School in Waldorf, MD for two years. He was a graduate of Buffalo State College in 2009 with interest in Technology. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pomfret, MD.

Born March 21, 1986, in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of Herman Charles Hoefert and Debra Marie Lombardi Hoefert.

Survived by his parents, Charles and Debra Hoefert of Conesus, NY; son, Kolton L. Thomas of Rochester, NY; brother, Daniel W. Hoefert of La Plata, MD; aunt, Florence Etzel of NY; and uncle, Michael Lombardi of NM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, February 21, 2011, at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 4590 St. Joseph's Way, Pomfret, MD 20675.

Fr. Mark Smith will officiate.

Interment will be private at a later date.
