James Matthew "Matt" Blair, 75 of St. Inigoes, MD died February 12, 2011 at St. Mary's Nursing Center, Leonardtown, MD surrounded by his loving family.

Born December 21, 1935 in River Springs, MD, he was the son of the late Walter Rayner Blair and Mary Gladys Bailey Blair.

Matt is survived by his wife Marian Ann Unkle Blair, his children; Theresa L. Harney of St. Inigoes, MD, Susan Marie Dudley of Hollywood, MD, Elizabeth A. Blair of Owings Mills, MD, one sister, Patricia (Patsy) Bailey of Bushwood, MD, two brothers; Walter R. Blair, Jr. of Leonardtown, MD and Joseph M. Blair, Sr. of Bushwood, MD. Also survived by three grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Matt was preceded in death by his son James Matthew Blair, Jr. and a sister Catherine Blair.

Family will receive friends for Matt's Life Celebration on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with prayers recited at 7:00 p.m. in the Brinsfield Funeral Home, 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD 20650. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Michael's Catholic Church, 16555 Three Notch Road, Ridge, MD 20680. The Father Lee Fangmyer pastor of the church will be the celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery.
