Raymond Elliott Hutchins, Sr.," Bob" 76, of Prince Frederick, MD., passed away at his residence on February 9, 2011. Bob was born on October 9, 1934 in Baltimore, Maryland to Thomas R. Hutchins and Mary Constance Hoffmaster.

Raymond was preceded in death by both his parents and his stepmother Ailene Elizabeth Williams Hutchins.

Bob was a life long resident and farmer of Calvert County. He was past President of the Calvert County Fair Board and the former Executive Secretary of the Maryland Tobacco Authority.

He is survived by his wife Elsie May Hutchins and his children, Raymond E. Hutchins, Jr. of Prince Frederick, MD., Wm. Mark Hutchins of Prince Frederick, MD., and Dale L. Hutchins of Prince Frederick, MD. He is also survived by his grand children Jessica C. Smith, Lisa M. Bailey, George Bacon, Henry Bacon, Juliet Bacon, and his great grandchild Kaitlyn T. Smith.

Mr. Hutchins also leaves behind siblings; Constance A. Breunich of NJ., Charles R. Hutchins of FL., and Thomas E. Hutchins of Port Tobacco, MD., and step brothers Phillip R. Mohler of Prince Frederick, MD., John W. Mohler of Prince Frederick, MD., David S. Mohler of Prince Frederick, MD. and step sister Ann C. Norfolk of Owings, MD.

The family will receive relatives and friends on February 14, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Rausch Funeral Home located at 4405 Broomes Island Road, Port Republic, MD. 20676. A funeral service will be held on February 15, at 10:00 AM in the Rausch Funeral Home, Port Republic, MD, interment will follow at Asbury Cemetery. Pallbearers were Thomas Hutchins, Charles Hutchins, Phillip Mohler, Mark Hutchins, Dale Hutchins, and Raymond Hutchins, Jr. Honorary pallbearers were Hagner Mister, Bobby Swann, Leonard Ogden, Mitchell Purcell, Clarence Wilkerson, Ernie Riddle and William Bradley.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 11240 Waples Mill Road Fairfax, VA 22030.
