Hugh Linell Richardson, 67, of Indian Head, MD, died February 7, 2011, at Southern Maryland Hospital, Clinton, MD.

Mr. Richardson was a driver for the Town of Indian Head for six years and a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pomfret, MD. He liked watching old western movies and soap operas on television. He was an avid Redskin fan. He loved seafood (crab cakes and oysters). In his youth he was raised on the family farm.

Born October 5, 1943, in Charles County, MD, he was the son of the late Aloysius Richardson and the late Beulah Robinson Richardson.

Predeceased by his parents; daughter, Mary Connie Richardson; brother, Willie Richardson; sisters, Ann, Emily, Elaine and Beatrice Proctor.

Survived by his wife of 41 years, Catherine Swann Richardson; sister-in-law, Amelia Richardson; sisters, Aletha (Richard) Proctor of Malcolm, MD; Lyola Harley of Indian Head, MD; and Sandra (James) Jackson of Ft. Washington, MD; brother-in-laws, William Leroy Proctor and John D. Proctor.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 11, 2011, from 10AM until 11AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Pomfret, MD.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, February 11, 2011, beginning at 11AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

Fr. Robert Kosty will officiate.

Interment will take place at the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be James and Bruce Proctor, Marlo Richardson, Dereck Thompson, Eddie and Michael Johnson.
