JoAnn Phelps-Shannon, 72, of Waldorf, MD passed away at Civista Medical Center in La Plata, MD on February 6, 2011.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Joseph A. McNamara, and Madeline Bauman. Husband David B. Phelps. Brother; Paul J. McNamara, Sr.

She is survived by her daughters; Deborah A. Reynolds, and Lorraine R. Phelps, "Rae-Rae". Brother Dale A. Hamel. Sister; Shirley A. McNamara. Son-In-Laws; Robert Reynolds, and David Shade. Sister-In-Law; Rebecca Phelps. 4 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

JoAnn loved the Washington Redskins, crossword puzzles, being around children, dining out, slot machines, bingo, and watching mystery T.V. shows.
