Ida Jones, 87, of Lexington Park, MD died on Sunday, September 17, 2006 at St. Mary's Nursing Center, Leonardtown, MD.

Born January 28, 1919 in Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Inge and Hallie Bailey. Mrs. Jones was a homemaker.

She was the beloved mother of William J. Dixon, Sr. and Dorothy Robinson. She is also survived by 5 grandsons, 14 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 22, 2006 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the First Friendship Baptist Church, 47359 Lincoln Avenue, Lexington Park, MD. The Reverend Roderick McClanahan will conduct the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
