Martha Faye Danielson, 65, of La Plata, MD, died January 31, 2011, at Civista Medical Center in La Plata, MD.

Martha graduated from Lackey High School in 1963. She attended Washington School for Secretaries, graduating with honors. Martha was an Executive Secretary, working for the Department of Navy at the Naval Ordnance Station in Indian Head, MD for 34 years. She loved her grandchildren, eating crabs, and boating with her husband Gary. She was a member of the Potomac Heights Baptist Church and Job's Daughters.

Born June 27, 1945, in Waycross, GA, she was the daughter of the late Virgil Pittman and Eunice Manders Pittman.

Predeceased by her father; husband, Gary Danielson; and sister, Shirley Pittman Liddle.

Survived by her mother, Eunice Manders Pittman; sons, Gary Steven Danielson and Weston Clay and his wife Holly Danielson, both of La Plata, MD; brothers, Larry and his wife Marla Pittman of Indian Head, MD; Don and his wife Linda Pittman of La Plata, MD; sister, Brenda and her husband Spencer West of La Plata, MD; devoted best friend, Sandie Turner; and four grandchildren, Steven Tyler, Kaitlynn Brooke, Weston Clay, Jr., and Heidi Nicole. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 4, 2011, from 2-4PM and 6-8PM with prayers at 7PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646.

Funeral Service will be on Saturday, February 5, 2011, at 11AM at Raymond Funeral Chapel.

Rev. Tim Bean will officiate.

Interment will take place at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Danielson, Brent Raby, Donnie and Jason Pittman, Jerry Freitag, and Jim Story.
