Robert Wakefield Toney, 78, of Charlotte Hall, MD, died on January 23, 2011 at Fort Washington Hospital.

Born on January 31, 1932 in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Helen King. Robert was self-employed in building homes for over 50 years. Prior, he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was also very active at New Hope Church of God in White Plains, MD. Spending time with his family was his enjoyment.

Survived by his daughter, Tracy Pearson and two grandchildren, Kelsey and Katelynn Pearson.

Predeceased by his wife, Norma Jean Toney.
