Dorothy Jane Dillon, 81, of Mechanicsville, MD died on January 23, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital, Leonardtown, MD.

Born on March 9, 1929 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late James R. and Lola Sherwood Garner. She was a homemaker.

Survived by her children, Margaret F. Squires, Steven, George, Ronald Dillon, and Janice Crutchfield, 11 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by her husband, Thomas C. Dillon, sons, Robert and Paul Dillon, and siblings, Anne Young, Virginia Mack, Lorraine Dillon, and Mary Nave.

A Life Celebration will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 from 5-8 p.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD with a Funeral Service at 7 p.m. Interment private.
