Drema Love Fuller, 67, of Faulkner, Maryland, was called home to be with the Lord on January 20, 2011.

Born January 24, 1943 in Beckley, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Terry Jesse Richmond and late Evelyn Mae Richmond. Her parents dreamed of how much they wanted a baby and how much they would love it; hence the name Drema Love. She retired from the Raye Vest Corporation as a Project Manager.

Preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Fuller; her parents, Terry and Evelyn Richmond; brother Terry "T.J." Richmond; and first husband, Samuel Hinchman.

Survived by her sister, Becky Sutphin and husband Bob; her two sons Samuel Dwayne Hinchman, David Dale Hinchman and wife Donna; her daughter Terri Dee Kahouk and husband A.J. Grandchildren Heather Murphy and husband P.J., Barbie Holt, Kyle Hinchman, Laura Hinchman, Dylan Kahouk and Kyndall Kahouk. Five great-grandchildren: Mackenzie, Caitlin, Anthony, Destiny Love and Kassadee.

Drema's determination, strength and faith were on display her whole life, particularly when she was diagnosed with lung cancer and breast cancer. She never gave up hope, never let it get her down and joked with her doctors about wanting a red Dodge Viper when she was healed. Her doctors were amazed with her strength and called her their miracle patient.

Drema's warm smile would light up a room. She radiated peace and comfort. Her engaging personality and infectious laugh put everyone at ease. She was a wonderful person, cherished by all, and will be remembered for eternity. She was one of those rare individuals who connected the bridges of friends and maintained the bonds of family, which was the most important thing in her life.

She was kind-hearted, had an independent spirit and an insatiable curiosity. Elegant in living and graceful in dying, Drema leaves an inspiring legacy for all of us to do what we believe in, to do it now and to make a difference to others as she did.

Visitation will be on Monday, January 31, 2011, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Arehart-Echols Funeral Home in La Plata, Maryland.

Her Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at 11 am at Grace Lutheran Church in La Plata. Pastor Long will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Bob Sutphin, Kyle Hinchman, P.J. Murphy, Bill Moats.

Interment will take place at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery.
