Gerald K. "Jerry" Grover, 77, of Lusby, MD passed away on January 16, 2011 at his residence. He was born on October 2, 1933 in Prince Frederick, MD to the late Kennedy M. Grover and the late Frances Pauline Gray.

He was the beloved husband of Patricia Grover whom he married on June 9, 1956 in Washington, DC.

Jerry graduated from Our Lady Star of the Sea School in 1952 and went on to join the Air Force. He was honorably discharged in 1953. He retired from the US Government in 1985 and enjoyed golfing, fishing, playing cards, Sudoku, and building blue bird boxes.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 54 years Patricia Grover of Lusby, MD; children, Jeff Grover (Sharon) of St. Mary's County, Bart Grover (Kristi), Vicki Scroggs (Al), and Nicole Grover (Brandy) all of Lusby, MD; siblings, Steven Grover of Chesapeake Beach, MD, Cindy Smith of Lusby, MD, and Paula Gray of Dowell, MD; grandchildren, Tiffany, Jeffrey, Dina, Daniel, and Cami; great grandchildren, Kayla, Kara, Bradley, Jeffrey, III, Daniel, Jr., Delanie, Destiny Lee, Donovan James, Jack Logan, Bella, Luke, and Dani.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 21, 2011 at 3PM in the Solomons Island Yacht Club, Solomons, MD with Rev. Ruth Dixon officiating.
