Noelle Lacey Smith, 23, of Lexington Park, MD died January 12, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital. Born July 2, 1987 in Cheverly, MD, she was the daughter of Herman K. Smith and the late Veronica Ann Heinlein Smith.

As a child Noelle loved to dance and was an avid swimmer. She always enjoyed reading, singing and sharing stories. She liked to play video games and had a great love for many animals but enjoyed cats and kittens especially.

Noelle is survived by her father; siblings, Shana Ann Smith, Kenneth J. Smith (Amy) and Samantha Lee Smith; aunt and uncle, Cindy and Chris Henigin, Sr. and nieces, Adrianna and Audrey Smith.

The family will receive friends for a gathering on Saturday, January 15, 2011 from 10 - 11a.m. at the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 6305 Ivy Lane, #320, Greenbelt, MD 20770 or the Cerebral Palsy Foundation of Southern Maryland, 1919-A West Street, Annapolis, MD 21401.

Interment will be private.
