Mr. Thesken was an Auto Mechanic with Buick car auto dealerships for 50 years and was of the Catholic faith. He was a simple, quiet man who built his own home and loved the Cincinnati Reds baseball. He most enjoyed being with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Son of the late Theodore Thesken and the late Clara Caroline Wenderoth Thesken.

Predeceased by his parents; his late wife of 54 years, Dorothy Lee Thesken; one grandchild, Christine Thesken.

Survived by two sons, James W. (Cindy) Thesken of Albany, OR and Roger L. (Geraldine) Thesken of Cincinnati, OH; one daughter, Linda T. (George) Harrington of La Plata, MD; one sister, Theodora Schubert of Cincinnati, OH; 8 grandchildren, William, Steven, Randall, and Mark Thesken, Theresa Wood, Stephanie Beach, Michele Murphy, and Cynthia Blecha. Also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.

Visitation and funeral service will be held at Young Funeral Home, Mount Healthy, OH on Monday, January 17, 2011.

Interment: Arlington Memorial Gardens, Mount Healthy, OH.
