Ina Lee Lippold, 93, of La Plata, MD passed away Friday, January 7, 2011 at Civista Medical Center. Born March 22, 1917 in Vinton, VA she was the daughter of the late Ira Alvin Kitchen and Mary Green Kitchen.

She grew up in Roanoke, VA where she met and married her husband, the late John William Lippold. They moved to Charles County, MD in 1955 and resided in Indian Head and later moved to the Jaycee Senior Apartments in Waldorf. She worked as a cashier at Marshall hall Amusement Park for many years. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to yard sales and growing flowers. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Ina was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Sue Hare; grandson, Raymond Nelson Lippold, Jr. and granddaughter, Brenda Lee Posey.

She is survived by her son, Raymond Nelson Lippold and wife, Joanne; daughter, Lois Elizabeth Mudd and husband, David Mudd, Sr.; son-in-law, David Eugene Hare, Sr.; nine grandchildren, Johnny Ray Lippold, Donna Kay Coberly, Joseph Lippold, James Otis Posey, Jr., Bonnie Sue Summers, Kevin Glen Posey, David Brian Mudd, Jr., David Eugene Hare, Jr. and James Brian Hare; great-grandchildren, James Dale Posey, Devin Posey, Madelyn Posey, Amanda Diane Duer, Brianna Lynn Robertson, Christian James Summers, Caitlyn Michael Hare, James Connor Hare, Johnny Ray Lippold, Jr. and David Michael Lippold and two great-grandchildren, Trenton Alexander Keib, Xavier Lee Keib and Alyssa Ayers.

The family will receive friends for Ina's Life Celebration on Monday, January 10, 2011 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8p.m. at the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD. A Funeral Service will be held at Brinsfield-Echols on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
