Frank "Frankie" Vincent Smith, 52, of Mechanicsville, MD died on January 5, 2011 at his residence surrounded by his family and friends.

Born on October 3, 1958 in Cheverly, MD, he was the son of the late Frank Vincent Smith, Sr. and Carol Smith Weaver. Frankie was an Owner of Auto Repair Center of Oxon Hill, located in Oxon Hill, MD since 1994.

He loved hunting, fishing and dirt car racing. His greatest achievement in life was his son, whom he loved spending time with go-cart racing, hunting, fishing, going on vacations and just laying around watching movies together.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Diane Trussell Smith; son, Shawn Michael Smith; mother, Carol Smith Weaver; Aunts Delores Allen and Dorothy Scoggins; many cousins and friends.

A Life Celebration will be held on Monday, January 10, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD and on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 from 10-11 a.m. at Church of Christ of Latter Day Saints, 22747 Old Rolling Road, Lexington Park, MD where Funeral Services will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
