![]() Henrietta Anne DeMarr, 76, of White Plains, MD, died December 14, 2010, at Civista Medical Center in La Plata, MD.
Mrs. DeMarr was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed bowling with her bowling league known as the Wishful Thinkers. In her earlier years, she worked for Woodward & Lothrop Department Store. She raised pure-bred poodles and had a green thumb always growing flowers. She was very caring with all and especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed going over old family photos. Born January 18, 1934, in Mechanicsville, MD; she was the daughter of the late Frank Schaub and the late Irene Elizabeth Bridgett. Predeceased by her parents; her husband of 57 years, Charles John DeMarr; son, John C. DeMarr; brothers, Frank, Henry, and David Schaub; and sisters, Lena Ulman and Mae Johnson. Survived by her five sons, Rocky J. (Robin) DeMarr of Abingdon, MD; Nicky Frank DeMarr of White Plains, MD; Richard Claude (Laura) DeMarr of Dundalk, MD; Phillip A. (Kim) DeMarr of Pylesville, MD; and David R. (Cathy) DeMarr of White Plains, MD; three daughters, Robin (Don) Shannon of Dundalk, MD; Janice Hall of La Plata, MD; and Judy (Darrell) Hammonds of White Plains, MD; and one sister, Rose (Bill) Cougle of Coceysville, MD. Also survived by nineteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Monday, December 20, 2010, from 11AM untill time of funeral service at 1PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Rev. Mark Roberson will officiate. Interment will be at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD. Pallbearers will be her sons. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Charles County, P.O.
