John Gibbe Eastburn, 90, of Waldorf, MD, died December 8, 2010, at his residence.

Mr. Eastburn was a Gas Station Attendant and Repairman with Swain Garage in Brandywine, MD. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and collected model trains. He enjoyed reading his Bible and other selected books.

Born March 4, 1920, in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late John Gibbe Eastburn, Sr. and the late Elsie Minor Eastburn.

Predeceased by his parents; and two sisters, Mae Eastburn and Marie Williams.

Survived by sister, Viola Hall of Waldorf, MD; niece, Carol Ann Hall of Waldorf, MD; nephew, Danny Hall of Waldorf, MD; cousins, Robert and Ethel Eastburn of Bryans Road, MD; Ronnie and Leola Eastburn of Mechanicsville, MD; Bernice Hughes of FL.

Funeral Service will be Monday, December 20, 2010, at 1PM at Maryland Veteran's Cemetery Chapel, 11301 Crain Highway, Cheltenham, MD 20623.

Rev. Steve Stauffer will officiate.

Interment will be at Maryland Veteran's Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the United States Army Honor Guard.
