Florence Marie Harbin, 65, of Port Republic, MD died December 15, 2010, at her home. She was born June 20, 1945 in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Frank and Florence Swain.

In 1963, she married John Harbin, Sr. and they shared 47 wonderful years together.

She loved her pool and throwing family crab feasts in the summer. She enjoyed playing Keno at the local restaurant. She lived for her family and nothing gave her more joy than to be with them and to support them in everything they did. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

She is survived by her loving husband, John Harbin, Sr., son Frank Harbin, daughter Tina Vass and her husband Chris Vass, and son John Harbin, Jr. and his wife Kelli Harbin. Four Grandchildren, Sabrina Ball, Christina Vass, Kaitlin Harbin, and Michael Vass, and one great grandchild, Ryan Ball, Jr.

The family will receive relatives and friends for viewing on December 17, from 5~8 PM at the Rausch Funeral Home, PA., 4405 Broomes Island Road, Port Republic, MD. A funeral service will at 7:00 PM in the funeral home. Interment will be held on January 3, 2011, 11:00 AM, at Maryland Veteran Cemetery, Cheltenham, Maryland.
