On Friday, December 3, 2010, Gayle N. Kimmel died peacefully at home.

She was the beloved mother of Kim, Laurie, Susan, David, and Lynda Weaver; grandmother of Shawn Favorite, Jennifer Miller, Jamie Hansen, Dave Weaver, Jessica Weaver, and Ashley Risch; and the great grandmother of Ariana and Jolie Quinoa and Quinn Miller.

She devoted many years to her work at Physicians Memorial Hospital and in more recent years spent time enjoying her work at Crain Memorial Welcome Center.

A memorial service was held at the home of her daughter Kim in La Plata, MD on December 5, 2010 at 2 PM.
