She volunteered her artistic talents to charitable causes and painted murals for sick children through Make-A-Wish Foundation. Recently her illustrations were published in the children's book "Bay Babies," which she dedicated to her two granddaughters. She had a heart for animaIs, adopting rescued dogs and cats and few times took in stray cats. She traveled with her husband to the Hawaiian and Caribbean Islands and the Florida Keys several times, but her favorite place was at their beach house at Cove Point, entertaining family and friends. She enjoyed being at the beach whether walking, collecting "treasures" or just relaxing. Her kind and loving spirit will be sadly will be sadly missed by those who were fortunate to have known her.
