Mary Elizabeth Chase 88, of Loveville, MD passed away on December 1, 2010 at her residence.

Born August 15, 1922 in Morganza, MD she was the daughter of the late James Arthur Holt and Mary Norema Thomas.

Mrs. Chase was a life long resident of St. Mary's County. Mary was a homemaker, and a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

Mrs. Chase is survived by her God-daughter, Susan Mae Mason of Loveville, MD.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Leo Chase, and one brother Joseph Norman Thomas.

Family will receive friends on Monday, December 6, 2010 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Morganza, MD where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. with Father Keith Woods officiating.

Interment will follow in Queen of Peace Cemetery, Helen, MD.
