Stuart Milton Plummer, 76, of Lexington Park, MD died November 29, 2010 at Fairfax Hospital, Fairfax, VA.

Born March 18, 1934 in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Cleveland Plummer and Alma (Hardy) Plummer. Mr. Plummer was a long time member of St. Cecelia's Catholic Church in St. Mary's City, MD and a retired lineman within the telecommunications industry.

Stuart was preceded in death by his loving wife Alma Catherine Plummer who passed away in 2008.

He is survived by a daughter, Mary Catherine Young of Sterling, VA, three sons, Walter "Danny" Plummer of Sterling, VA, Alfred "Buck" Plummer of Brookton, ME, and Richard Plummer of Lexington Park, MD; ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother-in-law William Campbell, Sr. of Fredericksburg, VA.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, December 7, 2010 in St. Cecilia's Catholic Church in St. Mary's City, MD at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Scott Wood officiating. Inurnment to follow in St. James Catholic Cemetery, Lexington Park, MD.
