Mrs. Howard worked in Dietary Department for the Charles County Board of Education for more than 16 years. She was a member of Immanuel Methodist Church in Baden, MD. She was known for taking care of seniors, especially through the Jaycees Senior Club, where she called and played bingo. She was an avid Baltimore Ravens fan and loved her grandchildren and friends.

She was daughter of the late James Wilbur Jackson and Elaine Jackson of Annapolis, MD

She was predeceased by her father; and one son, Darren Howard

She is survived by her mother, Elaine Jackson of Annapolis, MD; husband of 46 years, David L. Howard, Sr.; two sons, David Lee Howard, Jr. of White Plains, MD and Daniel L. (Pamela) Howard of Weems, VA; one sister, JoAnn "Mickey" Little of Michigan; and four grandchildren, Cory, Cassady, Katie and Dalton Howard.

A Visitation will be held onThursday, December 2, 2010 from 5-8pm with a Memorial Service at 7pm at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, MD.

Clergy will be the Rev. Mark Roberson

Interment will be on Friday, December 3, 2010 at 11am at Maryland Veteran's Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.
