Mary Elizabeth Wilson of Welcome, MD, formerly of Wilmington, OH, died on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at Civista Medical Center, La Plata, MD. She was 97 years old.

Born on December 15, 1912 in Clinton County, OH, she was the daughter of the late Pearl Redding and D. D. Daughtrey.

A homemaker and mom, Mrs. Wilson enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Wilmington United Methodist Church and the Cheerful Circle Club in Wilmington, OH.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, the late Morris Edgar Wilson; her two brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her daughter Barbara Ann David and her husband Bill of Welcome, MD; two granddaughters Marcia J. Shalifoux of North Dakota and Virginia Elizabeth David of Pennsylvania; two great grandsons Steven Shalifoux and Robert Shalifoux.

Services and interment will be held in Ohio.
