Bertha Ann Burch, 73, of Waldorf, MD, died November 20, 2010, at Charles County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, La Plata, MD.

Mrs. Burch was a waitress with Howard's Restaurant in Waldorf for over 30 years and a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Waldorf. She enjoyed playing cards, reading, and most of all being at home with her family.

Born July 2, 1937, in Benedict, MD, she was the daughter of the late James Buckler and the late Blanche Goldsmith Buckler.

Predeceased by her parents; husband, Russell A. "Skip" Burch; brothers, Parren, James and Joseph Buckler; sisters, Hazel Walker and Cora Graney.

Survived by her sons, Russell A. Burch, Jr. and his wife Margie of White Plains, MD; George Burch of Waldorf, MD; James "Tiny Boy" Burch of Waldorf, MD; Philip E. Burch and his wife Kathleen of Hughesville, MD; and Robert L. Burch and his wife Jody of Waldorf, MD; daughter, Joyce Brenda and her husband John McConnell, Jr. of La Plata, MD; brother, George Buckler; sister, Agnes Hicks. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 23, 2010, from 5 to 8PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646.

Funeral Service will be Wednesday, November 24, 2010, at 11AM at Raymond Funeral Chapel.

Rev. Mark Roberson will officiate.

Interment will be at St. Paul's Piney Church Cemetery, Waldorf, MD.

Pallbearers will be Russell Burch, III, Cody Burch, Robert Burch, Jr., Jonathan McConnell, Adam and Raymond Walker.
