Linda Mae Wheeler, 63, of White Plains, MD, died November 15, 2010, at Southern MD Hospital Center, Clinton, MD.

Mrs. Wheeler was the Treasurer for Washington Heating and Cooling, Inc. in Washington, DC for 18 years. She was an avid Bowie Baysox fan and Bingo player. She enjoyed traveling, especially cruises. For many years, she helped take care of her grandmother and mother. She was a wonderful mother and home provider.

Born January 27, 1947, in Richmond, VA, she was the daughter of the late James Lee Sprouse and Doris Elizabeth Deal Sprouse.

Predeceased by her father, James Lee Sprouse; and daughter, Christa Rene Wheeler.

Survived by her mother, Doris E. Balant of Bryans Road, MD; her husband of 46 years, Ronald H. Wheeler; son, Sgt. First Class John W. and his wife Crystal Wheeler of Ft. Lewis, WA; daughter, Ann M. and her husband Matthew Elkins of Pomfret, MD; brother, Ed Norstrude of Capitol Heights, MD; and sister, Judy Schmidt of Lothian, MD. Also survived by two grandchildren, Brandon and Breanna Wheeler.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 18, 2010, from 2-4PM and 6-8 PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646.

Funeral Service will be Friday, November 19, 2010, 11:30 AM at Raymond Funeral Chapel.

Rev. Mark Roberson will officiate.

Interment will be at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
