Roger was an Electrician for 30 years with Singleton Electric and a member of the IBEW Local 26 Union, where he managed many electrical projects, including Andrews AFB and NASA. He was a member of the Vine Wesleyan Church in Waldorf, MD where he helped with the Church Nursery. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and belonged to many hunting clubs. He most enjoyed being with his family and going camping and going to sports activities with his children.

Survived by his parents, Clarence E. Harris, Jr., and Jean Cone Harris of Henrico, NC; one son, Bohdan Payne Harris; two daughters, Rebekalyn E. Harris and Samantha A. McKean; and one brother, Phillip (Cynthia) Harris of Keedysville, MD.

Visitation: Wednesday, November 10, 2010 from 5-8 PM with Funeral Service at 7 PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646.

Officiate: Rev. James Matchette.

Interment: PRIVATE.
