Eugene LeMerle Riggs, 71, of California, MD died January 16, 2007 at his residence.

Born July 24, 1935 in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late George Henry Riggs, Jr. and Eugenie LeMerle Riggs.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Riggs, three children, Challen Riggs of Frederick, MD, Landen Riggs of Lusby, MD, and Brinton Riggs of Portland, OR, and two siblings, Barry Riggs of Baton Rouge, LA, and Ravenel Riggs of Metairie, LA.
