Anna Belle Ward, 79, of Port Tobacco, MD, died October 19, 2010, at Civista Medical Center, La Plata, MD.

Mrs. Ward was homemaker and a member of La Plata Community Church. She loved gardening especially roses, iris and lilies. She enjoyed grandchildren visits and being with family.

Born December 30, 1930, in Roanoke, VA, she was the daughter of the late George Wyant and the late Eve Blythe Wyant.

Predeceased by her parents; husband, William S. Ward.

Survived by her daughters, Patricia Thompson and her husband Jim of Port Tobacco, MD; Linda Eisley and her husband Bill of California, MD; Kathy Van Allsburg and her husband Paul of Michigan; Lisa Wilkins and her husband Wallace of Columbia, MD; Penney Ward of La Plata, MD; six grandchildren, Christopher Eisley, Shellie Johnson, Joshua Eisley, Sergei Gauld, Leahbelle VanAllsburg and Abbey Van Allsburg; one great grandchild, Kirra Johnson. Also survived by her siblings, nephews and nieces.

Services will be private.
