Gary Michael Hayden, Sr., 55 formerly of Crofton, MD, died on October 19, 2010 at his brother's residence in Mechanicsville, Md.

Born on February 18, 1955 in Leonardtown, MD, he was the son of Elbert I. Hayden of Leonardtown, Md. and the late Ruth Virginia Pickens Hayden.

Gary was a truck driver for IKon, a company for computers and copiers. He was a NASCAR and Baltimore Ravens fan. He loved music and the theatre.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his children Bill Hayden of Pasadena, MD., Mike Hayden of Edgewater, MD., Spencer, Crystal Hayden of Clarksburg, W.V., and Josh Hayden of Crofton, MD. his siblings; Charlotte Frankel, Sharon Fuller, Marilyn Hayden, Spencer Hayden, Tom Hayden and Owens Hayden, a special sister-in-law Pat Hayden, his friend, Patty, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Kline and brothers, Wayne and Paul Hayden.

Gathering 10:30 a.m. and Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. will be Monday, October 25, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 1800 Seton Drive, Crofton, MD.

Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Hospice of St. Mary's or Hospice, PO Box 625, Leonardtown, MD 20650.
