On Wednesday, October 13, 2010 the Lord called upon Jason Delano Riley from this world to His heavenly kingdom.

Jason was born December 16, 1961 in Welcome, Maryland. He was the son of the late Raymond Sr. and Mary L. Riley. Jason was preceded in death by one sister; Ella Hart and three brothers; Marvin, Ronald, and Wayne Riley.

He received his education from F.B. Gwynn Educational Center. He was a loving and caring person who enjoyed his job, most recently at Hooks n' Hangers in La Plata, MD. Jason was baptized at Zion Baptist Church at an early age. He loved his church family. His hobbies included his playhouse, doing puzzles, singing and playing the guitar. "Jesus Loves Me" was his favorite hymn. He was an avid fan of the Washington Redskins. His sister Gloria Gray, whom he would affectionately call "MaMa Gloria," was his caretaker, guardian, and mother for the past 20 years. Jason will always be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, his affection for everyone he came in contact with and his smile.

Jason leaves to cherish in his memory five sisters; Mary Proctor, Shirley Cooper, Viola Cox, Gloria Gray and Iris Riley, three brothers; Joseph, Raymond Jr. and Wendell Riley, four sisters-in-law; Lucille, Jackie, Delores, and Thelma Riley, and two brothers-in-law; George Cooper and Oliver Carroll. Jason is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, close friends and relatives, in addition to his Spring Dell and Church families.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 from 9:30am till time of Funeral Service at 11am at Zion Baptist Church, 8105 Annapolis Woods Road, Welcome, MD 20693.

Clergy will be the Rev. William A. Thorpe, Pastor.

Interment will take place at Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Welcome, MD.

Pallbearers will be Eric B. Riley, Marcellus Gray, Wayne D. Riley, Kenneth L. Riley, Tony Riley, and Aaron Riley.
