David Kevin Gragan, 48 of Mechanicsville, MD passed away on October 14, 2010.

Born May 26, 1962, he was the son of Francis Gragan and the late Mary "Dolly" Gragan.

David was a self employed Iron worker, he enjoyed motorcycles, being with his family, and hunting.

In addition to his father David is survived by his daughters; Melissa and Amber Gragan, his partner; Jeneva Stalnaker, step-children; Shannon Presgraves, Heather Remson, and Shaun Remson, siblings; Bryan Gragan, and Sharon Essert. Also survived by seven grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends for David's Life Celebration on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with prayers recited at 6:30 p.m. at Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., LaPlata, MD. A Funeral Service will be conducted on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 11 am. at the Christ Church Port Tobacco Parish, LaPlata, MD with Reverend Joseph Trigg officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Rest Cemetery, LaPlata, MD.

A Memorial Fund has been set up for David's, daughters; Melissa and Amber Gragan, 9905 Bowling Rd., Faulkner, MD 20632.
