William "Bill" Kostka McPherson, 54 of Waldorf, MD, died on September 26, 2010 at his residence.

Born on February 13, 1956 in La Plata, MD, he was the son of Mary Anne Gruss and the late Charles Henry Adams McPherson, Jr. Bill worked as a Cook at several places, most recently, Chesapeake Seafood House. He enjoyed collecting and repairing things, loved Loretta Lynn.

In addition to his mother, he is also survived by his siblings, Margaret A. DeVore, of Huntingtown, MD Catherine L. Tornabene, of Harwood, MD Rebecca L. Long, of Aquacso, MD, Charles H. A. McPherson, III, of Hughesville, MD, and James M. McPherson residing out of state, 7 nephews, 6 nieces, and 6 grand nieces.

Proceeded in death by a sister, Ruth E. McPherson Chaney.

A Gathering will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2010 from 5-7 p.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD 20622 where Services will follow at 7 p.m. Interment will be private.
