Theodore Clinton "Teddy Bear" Boyer, 69 of Waldorf, MD, died September 24, 2010 at Georgetown University Medical Center. Born October 27, 1940 in Washington, D.C., he was the son of Roswell Runkle Boyer and Bessie Constantine Boyer.

Mr. Boyer attended the University of Maryland at College Park. He was an avid
Redskins fan and enjoyed watching TV, reading, history, solving puzzles and video games. He was totally amazed with modern technology. Mr. Boyer was a member of the Shriners Boumi Temple of Baltimore in Hollywood, MD and a 32nd Degree Mason in the Thomas J. Shryrock Lodge 223, Hollywood and also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Julia Halla Chapter 107. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

Besides his parents, Mr. Boyer was predeceased by his brother,Wayne Boyer and son, Ronald Coble.

He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Brenda Coble Boyer; son, Christopher Stanton and his wife, Missy, stepson, Joe Coble and wife, Carrie and daughter-in-law, Cathy Coble; sister-in-laws, Betty Jennings and Sandra Hancock, Iris Coble and Trainn Coble; brothers-in-law, Roger Hancock, Junior Coble and Mac Coble; 5 grandchildren, Ronald Coble, Jr., Cassidy Stanton, Tommy Coble, Carissa Stanton and Alison Coble.

The family will receive friends for Theodore's Life Celebration on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 at the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, September 30, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Brinsfield-Echols. Interment will take place at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
