She was the beloved wife of the late Edward W. Young, whom she married on October 12, 1938 in Asheville, NC. She was a wife, mother and homemaker who dedicated her life and her love to her family and God.

She is survived by her children, Mary K. (Everett) Owens of Mechanicsville, MD, Carolyn Kiser of Denver, CO, Madelyn (Chester) Bowman of Nallan, WV, John C. (Karen) Young of Mechanicsville, MD, Edward W. (Sharon) Young of Indian Head, MD, and Linda Grimes of Cobb Island, MD; fifteen grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial Service and Interment: Friday, October 8, 2010 at 10AM at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD
