Mary Ann "Muzzy" Quade, 80, of Hughesville, MD died September 13, 2010 at Washington Hospital Center, Washington, DC. Born May 31, 1930 in Laurel Grove, MD she was the daughter of the late William Lee and Anna Russell Morgan.

She was the loving wife of Francis Aloysius Quade whom she married on August 2, 1952 in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Morganza, MD.

She is survived by her children Donald Quade (Elaine) of Mechanicsville, MD, Dale Quade (Mary Jo) of Hughesville, MD, and Dean Quade (Stacie) of South Carolina. She is also survived by her sister Irleene "Weenie" Harrington as well as 12 Grandchildren, and 11 Great-Grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her daughter Linda Knight Basinchury and siblings; Earl Morgan, Leo Morgan, Roy Morgan, George Morgan, Louise Hill, Anna Mae Isabel and Shirley Lacey.

Mary was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing quilts, playing cards, dancing, watching birds, and is known for her Lemon Meringue pies. She loved her family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 17, 2010 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel, Leonardtown, MD, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM with Fr. Timothy Baer officiating. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD. Pallbearers will be her grandsons; Jeff Quade, Dale Quade, Jr., Lee Quade, Donald Quade, Justin Quade, Evan Quade and Reid Quade. Honorary Pallbearers will be Wayne Fowler, Lawrence Quade, Dennis Morgan, Wayne Gardiner, Joe "Bubba" Quade, Bill McDaniel, Shawn Morgan, and Timmy Gardiner.
